Voyant sur la route se restaurant avec marquer gastro dessus et voyant qu'il était inscrit au gault et Millau nous y somment aller avec une envie positive !! Accueil professionnelle le point positif mais après avoir commandé une attente de plus de 30min pour un magret et un poulet mal cuisiner et a un prix excessif après sa on nous apporte les cartes des dessert étant très déçus du plat et voyant les prix des dessert nous sommes partis sur des sorbet pour être servis rapidement malheureusement encore 30min d'attente pour 4 boules, étant très déçus du repas nous n'avons pas pris le risque de prendre un café pour terminer le repas, le résultat une note très salé et aucun plaisir pris a table, je ne pourrais recommander se restaurant malheureusement !!!
lors d' un dernier séjour d' une amie, nous étions seuls pour le dîner et l' on nous a servi un dîner très moyen de la demi-pension obligatoire. Et cela après de très longues minutes d' attente ! Finalement nous avons pris le dessert en chambre !! On en avait marre d' attendre alors que nous étions les seuls clients !
Entre un repas très raffiné, cuisiné avec talent, produits frais et travaillés de façon originale, cuissons parfaites, présentation originale et aux allures de tableaux. ....Le cuisinier et son équipe sont des artistes. Service parfait ! L'épouse du cuisinier a assuré un service discret, chaleureux et professionnel !La note au Gault et Millau est amplement méritée !Merci et Bravo !
We had difficulty finding a restaurant with a free table on Wednesday night in Schonried (a number of them close to Wednesday). We were glad that Azalee offered us a table, but we had to order the grill restaurant that works next door, which was good at us. The restaurant was very quiet and the staff was very friendly, but the time it needed to get our food was not acceptable. We arrived at 8 a.m. and our food came at 9.30 a.m.... and there was no difficult order (Burger, Pizza and Fondue). Even then my chips came 10 minutes after the burger. The restaurant was quiet, but it was clear that the staff obviously had difficulties to cope with. I wasn't even asked if I wanted another drink. I assume that this is not a joint event, but it was a shame that we were not offered any excuse or reason for the bad service.
Although we had a confirmation for a table at the bottom of the grill, it was closed, so we sat at the azalee. Immediately we were offered to get the menus from the grill, which was very attentive. Very nice table, the service was impeccable. Our chateaubriand was delicious, my risotto and that must be mentioned because my previous experiences were not the same with regard to this risotto. Thank you for this beautiful evening in this cozy environment!
This restaurant, on the road to Gstaad, is an excellent choice for dining served in a gracious style while overlooking the beautiful Alps. We enjoyed the best entrecôte beef and vegetables, with a good selection of wines for the glass (Hostess even opened a bottle not on the list for us to enjoy. A “big” steak was enough for us to spile. Prices are appropriate for quality, ambience and service. The hotel is also comfortable.
We stayed at the hotel and tried their restaurant because of the reviews, it was sooo good! The menu didn't read it well, but once we ordered, we loved every dish. We especially liked the duck livers millefeuille.
This is a traditional restaurant run by the lovely and welcoming Von Siebenthal family. The ambiance is very nice and warm. The restaurant is located in a beautiful chalet, with a more sophisticated, yet traditional atmosphere. The kitchen, run by Michel Von Siebenthal, is simply amazing. He proposes a very fresh and creative cuisine, perfectly mixing local ingredients and culinary with a modern, international touch. The result is a perfect balance between tradition and modernity, taste and subtleness. His wife Carole and staff, which incude the daughters, will warmly host you, providing an excellent and friendly service. A genuine address in the region.
