I organise a birthday party at Basse Ruche and it was excellent. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. We also managed to test the activities which were great fun. A nice relaxed place near Geneva.

Although the restaurant web site states that it opens until 6pm on Sundays, once we arrived at 2:30pm we were told that the kitchen was already closed and only had fondue. We understood this to apply just for hot dishes, but they wouldn't even serve sliced ham! As the waitress explained the kitchen was already clean and couldn't slice prosciutto. As for our 2-year old baby, the only meal available was dry pasta (no sauce at all) with a chunk of butter and two slices of ham on the side. Since it was getting late, we decided to stay and order the bolet fondue, which was okay but completely unremarkable. In summary, despite its green surroundings and warm feeling I don't recommend it at all!!
