After getting caught in the rain for 10 minutes, temperature decreasing, entering in this pub with our teenage boy, it was just what we needed. We were told that the plates were big, we were asking for starters, but that was fine, lunch was 8 hours away. The hot pork plate with sauerkraut on dark bread was just plain awesome with cold beer. Followed by the peppered sausage, cured meat in black pepper, yummy. We shared all these plates with delight. This was followed by the bratwurst, the steamed roastbeef and mixed dumplings main courses. All very good, roastbeef really really good, with the strong dark beer. Maybe is was just the timing, our long day, the rain, but no, this is just a good place, with a good hostess that gave us good counsel and a warm welcome. Thank you Die Weisse, we had a really good time!
We did not plan to come here, but will not make that mistake again. Food and beer were phenomenal! The steamed beef and onion gravy was great as was the roasted pork. Was a great way to eat local cuisine. The beers were great too. And the meal was capped with a classic apple strussel
Die Weisse was a great surprise - gluten free and so good! Didn't try out the meals but apparently they have gf options too.
Fantastic to finally find some gluten free beer and it was absolutely delicious too! The food and atmosphere was also a highlight of our trip to Salzburg. Totally family friendly and the kids approved of the food too. Would recommend to anyone visiting Salzburg.
Loved the selection of gluten free, alcohol free and home brewed beers. We came back for a second night, because the food was so delicious and an affordable price. Family friendly with an excellent outdoor area to enjoy your brew while sitting in the shade on after a hot day sightseeing. Not to be missed!
시킨메뉴랑 다른메뉴가 나왔어요.. ㅠㅠ 돈없어서 최대한 싼걸로 시킨거였는데 비싼메뉴로 계산되서 너무 속상했습니다... 영어를 못해서 결국 그냥 계산하고나왔네요ㅠㅠ 그리고 주문이나 계산이 너무 느려요...(유럽여행다니면서 주문 제일 늦게받은것같아요) 그래도 슈니첼은 정말 맛있어요!!!♥ 같이 먹은 샐러드도 정말 맛있어서 그나마 기분좋았습니다! 추천해요~!!! They offered food we did not order. So we had to pay more than we expected. In addition, the ordering system was too slow compared to other restaurants. I think the service of this restaurant is NOY very good. But the food was really good. So if you want the best taste of food, I recommend this place.
The best beer that we tried was the Dunkel Weisse - or a dark wheat beer. It's unusual and was delicious. It came out of a bottle but was absolutely fresh.The classic Austrian/ Bavarian brauhaus food was great. The group's favorite was Bratwurst. We ordered 5 different dishes and shared. That one was so good we ordered another.Worth the walk here.
This restaurant was only a 4 minute walk from our apartment so we decided to give it a try. A very good decision indeed. This is a wonderful brauhaus. The menu choices are many. Try the oven roasted pork with sauerkraut and bacon. Also the wheat beer soup is very good. The beer selection is large. We went back another time and tried the goulash and the bratwurst both very good.
