At the beginning I thought that I cannot expect anything good in this bar. It is very close to the train and boat so I was expecting high prices and rather low quality. Fortunately prices were very reasonable (for chilli con carne I paid ~8 eur or so), quality good, portions rather large and service helpful. To sum up - very good place to have a dinner or just a coffee.
Great little cafe on the lake with outside dining. We decided to have lunch here while waiting for the boat to St. Gilgen. Food was good and the inside was quaint and charming. Great location while waiting for the boat or cog railway.
Was not always open as we went towards the end of the season. However it was open on the later more sunny days of our holiday and the food was good and good value.
We had a snack here at this busy open-air cafe right on the lake opposite the cog railway - the frankfurter was fine. Seemed like a reasonable cafe menu.Managed to get inside when it started to rain. Mind the staff dogs under your feet!
Stopped here for a beer, nice little place on the lake but unfortunately does not have it's own toilets & was plagued by wasps. Friendly staff, nice beer.
We only had drinks here but there is a good looking menu & if we had need a meal at the time we would have no hesitation to eat there. It's clean, inexpensive, has lovely views across the lake & is a few metres from the Schaffburg Bahn.
This place is better than average...............good. Popped in to get out of the rain. Just had a drink but wife did took a fancy to the apple streudel! It is right on the water's edge and opposite the Schafberg station. Clean and friendly.
Great place to call in for a cool drink and piece of cake after a long walk. Great view sitting right on the lake we lovely patio .
