Sehr schöner und paphos Ort. Serviert das beste Slow Food in Ramsau. Gute Weinkarte.

We are guests at the restaurant for several years in holidays and every time herr Eisl welcomes us as dear old friends. He enjoys making his guests feel comfortable and letting them have the best dinner at the end of the day. He knows exactly what his customers like and is everytime able to surprise us. Dinner is always excellent and his collection of wines is worth to book and travel to Austria.

We ended up by. Ham egg as had hoped to go to Kulmirt and it was fully booked. Ended up here because we were enchanted by the lovely view and the feeling of a quality old time hotel. We both had the Wiener schnitzel which was excellent and then shared an ice cream dessert. Maybe a little expensive (50 euro including two beers and expressos) but worth it for the ambience.

we had a delightful long 4 course dinner at thunder and lightening.the staff was most friendly and every course was outstanding. the best Hirsch-goulash ever and three kinds of fish so fresh. Bad weather was no problem and we were re-located to the dry umbrellas on the balcony on our request. The wine list was extremely wide range on all the Austrian specialities.

We went to Ennstalerhof just by coincidence since we didn't know nearby restaurant Kulmwirt opens only on Wendnesday and on. When we came to Ennstalerhof we almost felt a little underdressed. It's a beautiful traditional Austrian mountain house (love the wooden interior!) with typical Austrian and local cuisine but one level higher. Everything on the menu is well thought out as they don't offer endless pages of schnitzel variations but hand picked local dishes served with a modern touch. Everything we had was profesionally prepared especially good was beef tartare made right in front of us with no mayo (as it should be)! They also serve a dinner menu which is also a tasting menu of sorts because it's a 4 course menu and a great value for money. Also the home made schnapps is a must. You can easily spend 50€ or more per person here but it is worth every cent.

Beautiful hotel. Good "Steirische" food, higher prices. We would love to stay in the hotel, but the prices are too high for a familly of 5.

Set in a delightful Alpine landscape, in deep crisp snow with horse drawn sleighs, on a freezing crisp night, we ate at Ennstalerhof. We were served by one of the owners, the lady of the house, who was friendly, courteous and efficient. The menu is typical Austrian fare but of exceptional quality. I has Weiner schnitzel that was perfect. my father tucked into slow steed beef and vegetable with roasted onion and potatoes and the house white was more the adequate. two of had deserts which were vast, and delicious. It was the best we could do to walk it off through the snow on the way back to our chalet. Best of all for 3 courses, wines, beers and other additions we paid under 30 euros each. If you are in the area, don't miss out.
