If you stay in the hotel it would be a mess if you do not it at the restaurant of the Guardaval Hotel. Every course is delicious and you have an interesting wine list with a lot of good wines, Swiss and other ones.
My first time having dinner in this restaurant with my friend after long hours driving from Zurich. It is a restaurant with beautiful view to the mountain and located in Scoul. The restaurant is located in an old hotel building circa 400 years old. I ordered a set menu as seen on my previous post. The food overall was delicious and I like their meat , it has a good quality. They cooked in right temperature and it was juicy and tender. I tasted my third food was little bit salty also the Rosemary bread was very hard and dry, we couldn't eat it. If you are hungry , it is not the right place because the portions are small with high prices.
We were recommended by our Swiss friend to celebrate our anniversary in this fantastic hotel. Everything is just perfect, the restaurant has delicious food with very good service.
If you want a meal that not only blows your taste buds into another dimension, but is also presented in a uniquely aesthetic way, then you will love this restaurant. The staff is also very friendly and the ambiance leaves nothing to wish for. If your wallet can carry the bill, then this place is worth every CHF.
The five-course meal we were served at the GuardaVal hotel for a friend's wedding was more than gourmet. It was culinary perfection. Everything, from the service to the table setting, from the olive bread to the carefully planned menu were put together with much thought and care. I cannot recommend the restaurant enough.
