In German it would be Murmeltier (which I did see alive while hiking) or Marmotta (Italian) ...
Visited twice during our stay in Gries. Once with 4 friends and another day including children. Great choice of Pizzas and some pastas all at very good prices including beers and wines. Would recommend pre booking as you could be disappointed just turning up. If your not good at speaking Austrian found that the main man had a good grasp of English and was very friendly. Don’t go if you want to be in out very quickly if it’s busy, good atmosphere, would recommend.

We had lunch in this lovely Café/Restaurant during our recent holiday in Austria. The food was fantastic and the staff were really friendly and gave us excellent service. Would highly recommend and will be back again whenever we get a chance to visit Austria.

Very nice service, neat decor. During the summer season, you can eat outside while enjoying the beautiful views. There are many items on the menu, so there is something for everyone. It is possible to modify the dishes. Prices are relatively low for the quality and portion size. All the dishes we ordered were tasty, everyone was delighted. Roastbeef pizza is especially worth recommending. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Climate: 5/5 Kid-friendliness: There is a playground next to it.
