Nice terrace with a lot of tables, very busy but really good service and quiet space. The restaurant is in a pedestrian street in the middle of the old town. Nice food with different and really good dishes ee had never tried before and we really enjoyed such as the bonemarrow. Not very good risotto and a bit deceived by the desserts. Everything overpriced with a high cost bill without eating a huge variety of dishes.There is the option of reducing the size of the dishes (as starters) which makes it a bit more economic.
Great meal, wonderful service, best giant prawns with safran pasta I have ever eaten and the price was good too. A real brasserie and a must for lunch or evening meal if you ever visit lovely Sion.
Six of us had a great dinner - everyone thought the main courses were great (beef, chicken , fish); even the Thai red curry was really good. The desserts were disappointing.Great selection of wines by the glass.Bit noisy but it was full - service was great. Would definitely go back.
My colleague and I stumbled across this place by accident after visiting the Chateau's on the hill. We were both starving and craving something spectacularly tasty along with a glass of wine. Little did we know that half a dozen of our students were also dining inside. I didn't venture in but they told me later they were eating almost exactly the same meal as us.The penne was soooo good. Best Ever. We sat outside and watched the world of Sion pass us by. Watch some of our students choose their own eateries and pondered over our performances with the Choir so far.A delightful cat came and went to say hello. Sweet.Switzerland isn't cheap but fortunately, I wasn't paying so we had a lovely meal for a price that I would call mid range.Staff were helpful - English was so-so but that's okay.I'm not sure what my colleague ate but he was raving about it as well.Gosh, I wanta return just for the penne. So fresh, light and delicious. Thank you.

Won't spoil the surprise, you MUST visit. Change of menu every week, enjoy!! Best place in town, no doubt. Surprising dishes with ingrediënts you didn't know.
We choose this restaurant as it is in the centre of Sion in the historical capital of Valais. The restaurant is pedestrianized so park along the street and walk down the main precinct area. The restaurant was busy so that was a good sign with most diners eating and drinking outside. The view is amazing up the street to the Alps. I found the menu quite restricting and very expensive. I am not a fussy eater but the food seemed quite expensive for what it was. There is an English menu which is great but I don't recall there being traditional local dishes (or at least being pointed out) - there were dishes with a Japanese twist. The desserts were good however, as a saving grace especially the "ice cream that you cannot find elsewhere". Atmosphere is great. Location is ideal but food is restrictive and prices expensive. I would probably try another restaurant if back in Sion.
