I love this restaurant. My wife and I have been here three times now and the quality of the food is always superior to many of the other local places. The restaurant is run by a lovely young couple who work hard to make the experience pleasurable. Prices are fair but the quality is excellent and well worth the drive to get there.
Really delicious food, kind waiters, speaks 3 language ( hungarian, german, english ), there are smoking and no smoking areas, we really enjoyed ourselfs
We wanted to have good dinner after day spent in Raxalpen mountains. Belvedere served us great steak and delicious risoto with fish. Try it!;-)
Very good service, friendly staff and a traditional menu, all at a reasonable price. Even a homemade free "snaps" after the meal was part of the experience. Perfect for family or friends.
Nice place, beautiful location, nice personnal. Food average. Good for having a drink, or caffe or a cake. It is also accommodation available.
Had occasion to spend two weeks in the Rax Alps and very quickly ran out of interesting places to eat. Lots of places serving well executed Austrian specialities but after awhile they all started to blur together. Then we happened upon the Belvedere. Located in a small ski resort hotel in Semmering, there were a number of daily specials listed focusing on the seasonal wild mushrooms from the area. It was the best meal I had in the time is spent in the area. We went back a couple of nights later and were equally pleased with the experience. Our waitress knew a little English (actually more than she let on) and was delightful. Very fair prices and excellent food. Search it out when you are in the area.
Traditional Austrian restaurant in Semmering which is an Alps resort. Nice and cozy place with traditional Austrian a la carte service and additional meals of the day too . Quick and polite service , tasty food and good prices. Recommended.
When visiting Semmering, Austria for a long weekend dropped by for a quick late dinner but happened to stay for a full meal, because discovered the Kaiserschmarren (austrian dessert) on the menu. This is a must try in the Restaurant of Belvedere!
