You can certainly say that the prices a bit high, but you'll get what you are paying for. As an appetiser we shared a ravioli and for main course we had steak and lamb. The dishes are very nicely presented, tastes are wonderfully paired, which is not easy an easy thing to achieve in Austrian cuisine. Red house wine was also decent.Recommended.
The food and the service is simply world-class. It deserves all the rewards that this restaurant has received. Compared to bigger cities and restaurants of similar quality unbelievable pricing.
Every time I passed this lovely building I was intrigued to see inside - last night we had dinner there and learned a bit about the building. Both the interior and exterior were decorated by an artist in the early 1900's and he lovingly painted each room to reflect a different theme. The food was excellent - I had the lamb chops and he had the filet - both were perfectly cooked. We each ordered the mache salad...divine! The staff was attentive and helpful; overall everything was perfect. We will definitely return.
The food is truly high class and of exceptional taste and quality. For this kind of meal, which is quite exceptional, the prices are fairly reasonable. The setting and the interior are fascinating also. Staff is very polite but bit on a "stiff upper lip" side especially when you address them in English, which, on the other hand, they speak quite fluently.All in all an outstanding dining experience!
The food was excellent, some of the best we ever had. The restaurant is beautiful and the service perfect. We had steak with cream spinach and potato pancake and roasted beef on onions. Plus excellent deserts, warm apple cake with home made ice cream and mousse au chocolate. Amazing.
