by recommended by colleagues, we tried this restaurant. our service was great, I think it was called kathrin. a very attentive and accommodating woman who responds to every wish.We had two appetizers and a cheese - a meat fondue....I must admit I fell in love with this restaurant immediately. we are sooo satisfied and it was just top.
if in Swiss don't try fondue is a countersenso. This restaurant really looks like a fondue paradise, of all quality and goto. very friendly service. in summer we had dinner outside, but also the interior was inviting. conclusion with chocolate fondue; price slightly above the average, but I would say that the experience was worth it all
Thought this was going to be hard to find but right at the door to the underground car park. Warm welcome and the fondue was really good. They replenished the bread which was a nice touch. Not cheap but there again no where is in Switzerland!
We were looking for a restaurant for the evening, the reviews on tripadvisor were very good and we figured out why not! What a nice surprise! a warm welcome, a nice decor! On the map we choose spätzle! A treat! Really a very good address!
Fondue in a typical Helvetic restaurant. I was sitting outside next to the fountain and atmosphere it was nice. I ordered mixed cheese fondue. Presentation it's nice. I thought ( as foreigner) that was coming different flavored stiles of bread, or nice garnished but it wasn't. So it's nice but definitely it's massive for one portion and one person and it can result nauseous after a while as there isn't variety. I will go back to Fondue Beizli but i will order others dishes. My suggestion to owner to prepare also half portion for solo travelers and improve the garnishing/ bread stiles
fine fondue blend and attentive staff I can only recommend! in winter of course only on rservation.
if you like fondue and do not want to do this in a more sociable round house, for which the beiz is especially suitable! prices in the middle segment, suitable for groups. also has enough alternatives, but from predominant one may be a cheese :)
A small slightly off the beaten track Fondue Restaurant in St Gallen but well worth seeking out. We had a warm welcome , were both entertained and deliciously fed with a wonderful local cheese fondue. The portion was generous , the bread so fresh and the refreshing Fechy Wine perfectly matched the cheese. We will be going back on our next visit to this fascinating city.
