The menu in the Linde changes every few months with new offerings and themes - at the time of our visit the theme revolved around "Fairy Tales," which leant a whimsical note to the serious business of eating. Our group of 3 selected for appetizers a salmon/hecht terrine with a very tasty salad, a salad with lamb filet strips and a cream of tomato soup with vodka. All 3 choices were very good, except that the terrine which was a bit bland.Since one of the specialties of the restaurant appear to be its Cordon Bleu offered in different varieties, two of us went for these, one filled with raclette cheese and Bündnerfleisch, which, due to the Bündnerfleisch, turned out to be quite salty, the other with mozzarella, salami and chili; another order was for the vegetarian falafel. Even though we ordered just the medium size cordon bleu, the sizes were substantial, served with fries and we enjoyed all of our choices, as well as two local wines: a 0.5 l Schinznacher Saphir white wine and a bottle of Nauer Prestige Pinot Noir Barrique AOC Aargau.Overall a very nice and homey place, lots of decorative wood elements, the area is partially subdivided into smaller rooms, definitely a place that we will return to.
