It is a small and old restaurant, it is almost always full and it gives a clue about the dishes. We were two couples and we ordered tapas. the gambas to the ajillo are great and the pulpo is not behind.
If you drive to St.Gallen to eat Spanish, you will eventually land in the chlösti (klosterhof). the ambiente is discreetly rustic, with the cinema chairs at one wall worth mentioning here. the restaurant almost 40 people, therefore is a reservation of advantage; yes, also Tuesdays. the hostes know how to conjure the guests a smile into the face. the dishes are a dense and the garlic oil sauce to the shrimps/crevettes is so delicious that after that you need even more broth to fully internalize the sauce. eating in chlösti is like a bit holiday in spania. but unfortunately the holidays are too late.

simple, Spanish-style kitchen. the selection is manageable, the quality constant good, the price-performance ratio top! .and simply nice host.
the atmosphere is great and cozy, the workers are supersympathetic and pleasant. the red house wine is for pure kneeling, just like the fabulous mistkratzerli (small chicken) - just top! already at the remembrance one runs the water in mouth together. one of the best restaurants of all time!
