Die Forellen waren wie immer sehr gut, aber der Rest war ein Flop! Sehr schlechter und unprofessioneller Service. Die Bestellung ging falsch ein und so hat es mit dem Nachservice der zweiten Forelle überhaupt nicht geklappt. Nach langer Zeit kamen wir dann doch noch dazu. Nun hatten wir kein Besteck mehr und mussten uns selbst organisieren; und das auf einer überhaupt nicht belegten Terrasse. Der Koch war abwechselnd mit dem Aufrauen des Bodens und dem Vorbereiten der Speisen beschäftigt. Regelmäßige Mahlzeiten wurden am falschen Tisch serviert. Als Krönung erhielten wir die Rechnung mit aufgeführten Getränken, die wir nie konsumiert haben. Aber das Sihlmätteli gibt es nicht mehr wie gewohnt.
Man braucht einen ortskundigen Führer oder ein gutes GPS, um dorthin zu gelangen, völlig isoliert, abseits der ausgetretenen Pfade, versteckt hinter Hügeln, Tälern, Wäldern, Bauernhöfen usw., aber eingebettet in ein Naturheiligtum, das nicht von dieser Welt ist ... wahrscheinlich unerreichbar ein verschneiter Tag, selbst mit einem Allradantrieb. Aber das Ziel ist jeden Aufwand wert. Paradiesische Atmosphäre, lockerer und humorvoller Service, sehr begrenzte Auswahl an Hauptgerichten (Forelle oder Rind), aber absolut lecker. Unvergessliche Kirschtorte und SWISS Cheesecake (hat nichts mit seinem US-Namensgeber zu tun)
the many waiters run uncoordinated on the terrace, long waiting times though not full! the wein you have to order about 5 times!If you drink to third wein for fr. 200.- you still pay for the water of conduction separately, incredible!!! The wet is arrogant and cheeky and certainly not a pardoned gastronomic!! in any case, I will not go any more!
finally again a restaurant that can surprise! start eating (rindstartar, even smoked trout) convince in itself, the bright blue are the hammer. a manageable map, which offers something for everyone! Chocolate Glace at the end do not miss - because it really tastes chocolate!
Perfect meal in the middle of nowhere, after a nice walk! You can relax and eat a very good trout. Simple and authentic! Thank you!

after a hectic working day we enjoyed the quiet and romantic location and atmosphere of the sihlmättlis on the sihl. the trout wounded like 10 years ago. excellent eating, however, the menu today is more attractive, even the wine offering is wider. friendly, spontaneous service. the price/performance ratio is good.
