Un très agréable moment à deux après une journée de travail ou devant une vue sublime et dégagée sur le lac Léman, la grande roue, le jet d'eau... on a pu déguster un délicieux cocktail pour monsieur et un the maison pour moi tout cela dans une super ambiance et À un prix très correct !!! Nous le recommandons pour sa vue, sa carte variée, ses prix abordables, cocktails servis avec olives et chips maison donc un bel apéritif !
Ce rooftop très connu des genevois, mérite le détour.Placé en plein centre et à deux pas de la place du Mollard, vous avez la possibilité de voir Genève sous un autre angle. Ambiance festive lounge comme à new york.Préférable de réserver pour les apéros car bcp de monde
Friendly service all the way from bouncers at the lift, to the reception with your coat, to the bar tenders.. Music was awesome and vibes were cool! Atmosphere on the terrasse was also good. At some points, there were lighting men on stilts out entertaining and dancing with the crowd - bit cheesy but was funny and cool.. Also, they mixed and match the music - excellent DJ.. i think it was DJ Jojo that evening I visited. Also, they had someone playing the drums, increasing the beat for the samba experience. Pricing for drinks were higher than a normal bar but is justifiable. To give an idea- a glass of Chardonnay at 11 CHF. Pity there weren't alot of people.. but nevertheless, good times at Rooftop42.
Nous avions réservé quelques jours avant pour être certain d'avoir une table avec une vue sympa ce qu'on m'avait garanti au tél.Quand nous sommes arrivés on nous a mis au fond avec vue sur des bureaux, on a voulu changer mais réponse " plus de place" .En partant j'ai juste dit gentiment à la personne à l'accueil que ce n'était pas très sympa car j'avais pris mes précautions pour réserver et à ce moment le videur (ou plutôt une caricature du videur agressif et violent) était la et m'a juste dit que c'était comme ça et que si je n'étais pas content je n'avais qu'à pas revenir, j'ai préféré pas insister, il n'attendait que ça .....Pour résumer : que ce videur, pardon ce voyou, se rassure on ne reviendra plus. Dernier détail : les prix sont exorbitants.
Rooftop 42 is THE trendy bar, nightlife location in Geneva...that would be enough to bet on average and very expensive food typical of such places...well we were positively surprised...not so much on the price (well it's Geneva after all...) though not a total rip-off by local standards..but rather by the food quality and really elegant presentation (i was told the cook is also a painter...i can confirm the visual impact is worth the try!). And the waiters (all males and in a debatable outfit)..The rest is what you would expect from a glamourous trendy place, though in mid summer it felt the trendiest and most glamourous guests are probably in St. Tropez or Porto Cervo right now...
It has a great view, on the top of a building. Cocktails are really good with chill out music as background.

For lunch, Very good service, nice menu with restricted choices. The terrasse is beautiful with an amazing view of Geneva. The food was OK, not the best Îve had but not bad.For drinks, i absolutely love this place! It's pricey but it's worth it :)
