Ce qu'on peut attendre d'un resto "japonais" basique. Ni délicieux ni mauvais, satisfait l'envie de sushi (ou alternative à la pizza, le kebab, ou meme le burger king) pratique à l'emporter et fais le job. Si on le sait d'avance, pas de sushis!!! ;)
I visit their restaurant in the passage Malbuison now and then; the quality is fine and you know what you're getting, it's not the best sushi in Geneva, but as long as you're aware of that it's perfectly acceptable. The food is always fresh and there's a good choice available. You choose what you want and pay at the till, then take it upstairs to the seating area to eat where you can overlook the main shopping street (if there's an empty seat). Hot food is also available.
Les points de vente de sushis se multiplient mais la qualité n'est pas toujours là. Les produits sont frais certes mais ça ne fait pas tout. Faire des sushis est un art. On trouve ici une pâle copie de ce que cela devrait être. C'est grossier, mal coupé, bourratif. Mais bon puisque les gens se satisfont de ça il n'y a qu'à continuer et en profiter. Tout le monde mange des sushis maintenant sans vraiment savoir ce que c'est.

En plein service, une collaboratrice entrain de ranger les boissons assise parterre et juste après, les mains dans les réfrigérateurs à sushis... la grande classe.
At around 5pm I went to this restaurant and pick one of the japanese fried noodles from the food warmer, I got a serious problem at 9 pm I had vomitted at least 20 times until 3 am, I am not sure what problem was it, that was my first meal during the day, I had only 2 coffee before this noodles.The other day I back to this restaurant and tell the girls I felt really sick last night, as I understand their noodles was made and pack in the morning, and still selling at 5pm, I am astonished that food was kept whole day long.Maybe I was the unlucky one, usually I don't have problem about food, that was the first time in my past 30 years got so serious vomit.
I liked the sushi at Wasabi sushi, the place looks clean and the lady was nice and polite. The fish tasted fresh, though I don't understand why they add some soft/creme cheese in some of their rolls. Fish and cheese don't really taste well together. Also they should marinate the salmon, it tasted of smoked salmon, which is quite unusual for a sushi place. Apart from the cheesy-smoked-salmon rolls, I liked everything else, including the dumplings, and they have quite a good variety of choices. I will definitely be back to try more sushi.
I love the Bento A at Wasabi, I've been getting it for years! Good service with the exception of one time! Student discount is nice!
