before and after the visit of the thunersee games we had thirsty. by the proximity to aare you can stay here wonderfully. you feel the flowing water, which has a cooling effect on the hot afternoon. the service is kind to recommend the prices in order and the mixed beer.
ingeniously located bar on the water to let a cozy evening end with a beer/drink. the drink card is small but fine and the staff very friendly.
pity, a beautiful and cozy corner with a cheap drink selection. already faced several times with “last round” around 11h or 11.30, if there are still at least 20 guests and others are rejected. apparently only happens when the chef isn't here. it has to the happiness all around alternative.
I love the atmosphere of that place, just fantastic people cosy and peaceful, music is great. A must go as well.
to enjoy a beer or a drink on the summer evenings in front of the house - that makes the "old oele" really fun. the service is set up and comes easy.
the old ole is a popular spot in the old town of thun. a good drink card, ugly and small menus to make reasonable trips.
Quality of wine just ok, but low prices, so ok also. Staff friendly but not always overmotivatet (closing the bar at 10.45 with 20 customers still inside.) Very central place an nice sittings outside under trees and beside the noise Aare.
in the old oele I often go to a theatre. very good actor! the theater is small but quite cozy.
