Wir waren 5 Freunde und alle höllisch hungrig. Wir sahen die Pizzeria Bernina am Straßenrand und dachten, wir sollten dort essen gehen. Beste Entscheidung überhaupt. Wir bestellten 3 verschiedene Pizzen und 2 Pasta mit etwas Fleisch. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Team ist perfekt, wir haben mit ihnen gelacht und viel Spaß gehabt. Wir hätten nicht gedacht, dass wir uns in einem Restaurant so wohl fühlen könnten. Daumen hoch, Pizzeria Bernina, lächle weiter und koche, denn du machst es perfekt. Grüße aus Amsterdam. Wir haben hier neulich zum Essen vorbeigeschaut. Der Service war schnell und das Essen kam rechtzeitig, allerdings waren die Portionsgrößen etwas zweifelhaft. Wir bestellten eine kleinere Portion Risotto, was ankam, sah aus wie eine kleine Vorspeise. Als wir endlich die Rechnung bekamen, stellten wir fest, dass die kleine Portion nur 2 CHF weniger kostete als eine volle Portion.
There aren't many restaurants in Thusis and this place was recommended to us by the locals. We were sitting outside and the place was very popular. The service was very fast and the food was delivered quickly. The portions are big. I had tuna which was delicious and served as two big steaks with vegetables. My boyfriend had a spicy pizza with which he was pleased as well. The only thing this place could improve is to be a little bit more friendly and smile to the customers.
Very disappointing service and even more so that although I emailed the restaurant after I received no response which is what prompted me to let others know.We rang and booked a table in the morning for the evening and arrived 5 minutes early. Although given our seat and menus we were not able to place our order until some 20-25 mins later.When placing the order we were informed the kitchen was very busy and there would be a 20 mins wait for food which we accepted. For one of the dishes we asked to swap chips for rösti. There was no mention of an additional charge in the menu and the waiter did not mention it when we made the request.Some 50 mins later we received our meal. Nothing offered complimentary in the meantime just an update that our food would be coming soon and so we waited and waited and waited.When the food finally arrived it looked delicious however as I was eating my fillet steak with pepper sauce I crunched hard on my teeth and then spit out 2 pieces of hard stone. When asking the waiter what it was he looked and said oh its some of the cooking griddle as if this is acceptable for people to eat and swallow this not to mention the potential damage to teeth.When we received our bill we noticed an additional charge or 4.50CHF. When we asked what this was for we were then informed its the additional charge for rösti which had not been mentioned before when ordering.The above series of circumstances are really not acceptable and then to receive a bill with additional charges words escape me. Being busy with group bookings is not an acceptable reason to wait so long to order, receive the food, eat metal in the food and then be charge extra for switching to rösti. If we had been told in the morning when we rang that the restaurant would be very busy and unable to take more bookings, we could have gone and enjoyed a meal somewhere else that had the time to serve us.
good italian food, the octopus lemon salad was excellent and their pizzas also. very nice views of the valley and friendly staff with reasonable prices.
