I had lunch here with a buddy on a non-skiing day in Obertauern. Despite Mundwerk not being readily accessible for skiiers, it was pretty packed at 1 p.m. with folks in ski boots (and folks not skiing).We ended up sitting at the bar to eat, which was more than fine with us. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed by the crowd, but they were polite and nice. I had beer and a burger with fries. The fries were pretty good, but the burger was undercooked and unseasoned. My buddy had a salad with chicken, he thought his was pretty good and the portion was more than fair.I would recommend Mundwerk for a drink, not so much for a meal.
Mundwerk is the informal restaurant in the Freudenhaus. Great value for money, good food and very nice staff. After dinner the place turns into a club with good DJ's and a great party crowd. Don't miss it.
excellent lunch spot with really healthy food. nice change from heavier Austrian food. good burgers, salads and wraps.
A nice place, clean, modern with large bar stool type seating. A European menu with a variety of wraps, burgers and meat and fish dishes perhaps a little more expensive than more traditional bars / apres ski venues.
Nothing to fault, but nothing to go out of your way for. Good but not memorable. Close to main lifts though
We visited Mundwerk, which is another arm of the Lürzer Group. Great menu, great service and great food. The portions are monstrous. Will be back
Mund Werk is a great restaurant/ bar, attached to a very nice shop. The food and drink was fine, nothing special but good fair at a reasonable price. The big problem is they allow smokers in. We sat down as a family of 8 (well two families) ordered our food and drink and waited. During the wait 4 arrived at the table next door and lit up.So when our food arrived the flavour was spoilt by the smell of cigarette smoke. Its about time these restaurants started banning smoking
An OK pub for quick food and a drink in between the skiing or a break. The staff are very pushy, you cannot even sit down and they ask for a drink to order the second you walk into the place, and it is very irritating, especially if you have all your skiing gear on you ! On the top they must watch your glass all the time I think, come every time your glass comes emptier and ask for more orders...Overall a nice warm shelter if the Lurzer Alm opposite is shut!
