Wir haben im Hotel übernachtet und deshalb auch hier zu Abend gegessen. Das Abendessen war gut und währschaft, wie man es sich an so einem Ort und nach einem langen Wandertag wünscht. Sehr gut war auch der gemischte Salatteller mit vielen verschiedenen, separat angemachten Salaten.
Great view from here into the mountains on the Uri-side of the pass and into the Schächental. Lots of parking space across the street from the restaurant. We regularly stop here on our more-or-less annual crossings of this pass (as we invariably are on our way to the home of the Kempf Family on the Urnerboden to get our supply of tasty Alpcheese produced by them on the spot). We have enjoyed the restaurant's Älplerrösti, schnitzel and other lunch specialities, or often just enjoy a glass of beer, Süssmost or a café crème, possibly with a Nussstengel aside. It is also possible to start some short hikes higher up into the mountains from this spot.
When you do a roadtrip with your motorcycle - this restaurant gives you a break on your tour. Sufficient stuff on the menu for a lunch or coffee break and you won't be the only motorcycle driver stopping there.
Après 6 heures de marche, avons grandement apprécié l'authenticité de l'accueil tant à la terrasse, au restaurant qu'à l'hôtel et l'excellent rapport qualité/prix de toutes les prestations consommées. A ne pas manquer si l'on souhaite vivre l'expérience d'une nuit au sommet de la tour de Pise. Baudriers pas nécessaires!
Service is pleasant the view is nice and lunch snacks were ok. Sitting outside and looking at the road and at the parking area with post-buses and cars is not really my cup of tea.
Ich besuchte das Restaurant Klausenpasshöhe mit meiner Familie zum Essen. Wir nahmen auf der Terrasse Platz. Die Bedienung nach unsere Bestellung gleich auf und servierte das Essen nach kurzer Zeit, obwohl die Terrasse voll war. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und preiswert. Von der Terrasse hat man eine schöne Aussicht in die Urner Berge und ins Schächental. Jedoch das Restaurant nur im Sommerhalbjahr geöffnet, da der Klausenpass Wintersperre hat.
