Food was very good. Sat outside by shrubs for a very private setting even though cars could drive just a few feet away, but this street is not at all busy. Asked for tap water and after a little resistance, the waiter brought a pitcher with ice and water! The "had knuckle " dish was huge (and good though I have had better sauerbraten), and I barely finished half. If I was not on vacation I would have taken it home.
It was a good, but average restaurant in the citycenter of Vienna. The waiters were polite. The Wiener Schnitzel is OK. The prices are OK, good value/money rate.
We sat outside. Restaurant didn't seem busy. Plenty of staff standing around. Not sure if the kitchen was short staffed. It took a long time to get our entrees. Food was good but typical of other street style restaurants.
I am usually hesitant to write a "bad" review because I appreciate all the hard work that goes into cooking and serving. Also, tastes are different. I cannot recommend this place though. The service is slow and one waiter does not know what the other one is doing. We asked for simple mineral water three times.The food is not prepared with love. It's a lot, that's all, but it's not really tasty.
We found this restaurant on our recent visit to Vienna and it was a very good choice. We both chose the soup, followed by Wiener Schnitzel which was excellent, served with buttered potatoes and a small salad. The dessert was apple strudel. Very good service and excellent value for money!
Muellerbeisl was recommended by our tour guide as being an authentic restaurant offering good food at a reasonable price. She was spot on, the restaurant was crowded but the service was good and attentive. Lot of locals with some tourist were there during our dinner. Good food and great beer!
Waiting too long for a meal. When asked for a glass of wine, waiter forgot to bring it. Hardly value for money.
Nice place that seems to me lot of locals eat here, staff is more than helpfull and polite, and food was just delicious. Be sure to stop here and try their Königh doppel maß, it was perfect!
