I'm not lying when I say gluten free heaven being gluten free I was not disappointed with any of it and could eat here all day the prices are great which is rare to find good prices being gluten free the chocolate cake is seriously the best. And the gluten free bread was so good we had to keep asking to make sure it was gluten free.!!
We had the pleasure of eating at this little gem during our holiday in Vienna. The staff and Chef were kind, courteous and accommodating. The food is prepared fresh and with care and to order. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and the atmosphere. Go...you'll enjoy it!
This is a little hidden gem in Vienna! if you happen to be around, go! even of u're not allergic to anything :) very good hand made cakes and more :)
I was so excited to finally have something cake from Vienna and at all gluten free cafe! The sachertorte (the cake to have in Vienna) was amazing; it's a chocolate ganache on top of moist chocolate cake. It's not overly sweet and just the right flavors -- I now know why this is a popular dessert in the city! I also had the ham and cream cheese pancake which was a tasty snack. This place was almost perfect but they don't accept credit cards even for bills over €20, so I was really bummed that I wasn't able to buy more sachertortes and other sweet treats to take back to my hotel. For travelers, this is especially an important detail to note before visiting. Definitely would go again if I had more cash euros!
I really appreciated the atmosphere of this café and the fact that all the pastries respected a lot of allergies. I tested gluten-free and lactose-free cakes and I didn't notice a difference with a normal cake! I warmly recommand this café, even if you don't have any allergy :)
Here they know what really goes into the food, very fresh ingredients and very yummy, try the fresh green salat and mint tee, just love it
If you fancy a tea or coffee and some excellent cake this is a decent option. Small but a good place to hang out, scan the papers, browse the internet on your smart phone or just people watch through the window.
We visited several times while in Vienna, and would have visited many more times if possible! The food was absolutely delicious, maybe even the best gluten free cakes I've ever eaten. Very cute, small café. I highly recommend the Sacher Torte and whatever is fresh out of the oven, as the fruit tarts were heavenly when warm. The staff was very welcoming as well, accommodating to our poor German but willing to help us practice. One woman who helped us both times even gave us a small slice of one of the other cakes we hadn't ordered on the house while we waited for the apple tart to come out of the oven. Highly recommended!
