We have been satisfied with quality, quantity of food. Personal was also very nice.. highly recommend this Restaurant
We had two evening meals at the restaurant of this hotel. The first time we ate outside the building at tables set up in the pedestrianized street. The second, we had our meal inside the main restaurant. On both occasions, the food was enjoyable - good solid Austrian fare and served with a smile. My wife found the mixed salad to be the best she had tasted on our trip. On our second visit, we made the mistake of ordering a dessert, which nearly finished us off - two large pancakes, stuffed with ice cream and fruit and topped with whipped cream. The pancakes themselves were disappointingly tough, and left us feeling bloated, which is not the ideal state to be in after a meal. A word of praise for the staff, who all put a lot of effort into their work.
we went for dinner The menu has not changed in years but the tomato soup with shrimp was just as good The Zweibelroastbraten was excellent as was the steak tartare and they also had our favorite wine, Umathum!
My husband and I enjoy dining here while on holiday in Villach; leaving our boys with Oma! We have always experienced great service and wonderful food. They have catered to our own tastes and change meals which is lovely, they have an English menu too which I find helpful. Love the decor of the place and am delighted that smokers now have their own area, for me that was always the one sticking spot. We have taken our boys but the experience is lost on them, this is a great place for couples and friends.
Super location in Villach Austria. Located in the old city. No autos. Nice walking areas. Very old buildings. Museums are super. Be sure to see the church and and walk up to the top. Good view of the city. Horace Ball is the owner and nice person and speaks English. Daily specials. Bare area
we order the pork Gorgonzola and lamb wrapped bacon...both dishes are fantastic... the pork combination with Gorgonzola really tingle your tongue.... the lamb in the blanket is on point...pinkish in the inside.. be prepare for the generous portion....
This restaurant is situated right in the Centre of town. The service was friendly and fast. The food was tasty and more than enough . Prices are normal for Austria. This restaurant is in a very old building. Very charming.
I was here with my wife. The food was very delicious and we got big portion.... Nice people.... The restaurant is inside modern, well decorated...We can recommend this place.... The price is also okay...????????????????????????????????????????????
