this charming chalet located in the heart of the beautiful Valais Alps is unique. the terrace is superb, offering an exceptional view. the lucky ones will see the seagulls on the opposite side.
A lovely place to stop mid ski for some hearty food and a nice glass of wine. A wooden chalet with a fire serving all the usual Swiss fare, rosti, tartiflet, soups and croute. The rise in the value of the Swiss franc makes any spending in Switzerland expensive for Brits, but this is a lovely place, great food and service and well worth a stop.

Julian the boss is an engine for this little Valais station. dynamic and full of ideas it happens to have the customers come up at home some are the climatic conditions that is to say if the welcome is warm and the good cuisine without forgetting the excellent wines of the philippe winemaker. impatient to return there.

We stumbled upon La Bourri while taking a scenic drive. It was such a pleasant surprise, the view is unrivalled, the atmosphere so typically Swiss, the coffee was the best we had all holiday, but most of all the owner and staff were incrediably friendly. They chatted to us, answered many questions we had and told us about places to visit close by etc. The owner even encouraged us to take a walk further up the mountain where we could look out over france on the one side and switzerland on the other. We did just that. If you ask any 7 of us travelling what our favourite holiday experience was during our month of traveling through Europe, this would be it. We wish La Bourri much success and wish to see you again one day
