We went there on a busy Wednesday evening. The staff was very friendly. Everything came fast and personally I was glad that we had a lot of options so we could choose something unfried for a change.
The food was okay, nothing special and a bit bland. If I am honest, the restaurant has a bit of an identity crisis. The name chili would make one think it’s a Mexican restaurant, but that it is not. The menu is a bit all over the place so it’s impossible to place the restaurant. The décor is fairly 90’s, which goes down fine in Germany, but I have found the Austrians to be much more décor conscious so this place sticks out a bit. On a positive note the staff are nice.
This was the restaurant recommended by the Wenger Alpenhof as their "in-house" restaurant was closed. It's a 2 minute walk from the Hotel and initially appeared to be a separate entity.However, on the back of the restaurant card, are the hotel details, and both enterprises share the same email address. The dining area is small but adequate, it's clean and the staff attentive and good at their role. There is a reasonable selection, but the portions were huge and we had to leave loads uneaten.Our bill of €100 for the meal could have been reduced if we had shared some of the meal with each other.
Dies war ein wunderschöner Ort, um ein gutes Essen zu genießen. Ich hatte die Schweinefleischmedaillen in Waldpilzsauce. Es war eines der besten Mahlzeiten, die ich in Österreich hatte. Mein Mann hatte einen Salat mit Hühnchen und einem Ei. Sein Essen war gut, aber nicht sein Lieblingsessen. Der Service ist wunderschön und sehr freundlich. Wir empfehlen diesen Ort.
Wir kommen jedes Jahr ins Restaurant. Denn es sind die Einwohner, rein und richtig, wenn man mit der Familie unterwegs ist. sehr empfindlich beim Betrachten von Lebensmitteln
We're here at 9:00 to drink something and eat Kaiserschmarn. Fast service, delicious food, good prices, is worth going there.
We had lunch on the terrace. Both had pasta. Portions are large, the prices are good and the taste was good.
