The one we went to was in the Vienna train station, but they are all over Europe (the McCafe) it is a coffee shop like Starbucks, but cheaper and has nice surrounding and GREAT pastries
Wandering on Vienna fashion street it was difficult to find different an Indian or vegetarian restaurant. So settled for mcdonald. On ground floor the. Maon restaurant we ordered veg Berger finger chips with Sunday. . They told they can not serve without eggs that is myannois. Very little sitting space on ground floor but good Space at first floor. Also tried their cookies and Iced Chai. Normally we do not eat at such places so we're not satisfied. Taste looks all are different
Das Essen schmeckt ähnlich, wie bei anderen Mc Donalds Restaurants, aber durch die nicht gerade sehr engagierten und manchmal unfreundlichen Mitarbeiter fühlt man sich wo anders viel wohler. Auch die Sauberkeit ist optimierbar.

Es handelt sich um eine Filiale von Mc Donald´s - insofern bekommt man die typische Mc Donald´s - Kost. Nichts Außergewöhnliches, aber ab und zu okay für einen schnellen Imbiss. Der Mc Donald´s am Handelskai ist in der Nähe mehrerer stark befahrener Straßen, insofern mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen.

We were desperate for a Wi-Fi connection, so gritting my teeth, we went in. What a pleasant suprise! No grinning yellow and red clown, no patties that tasted worse than the cardboard box they come in, but reasonably good coffee and an excellent meringue strawberry torte that could be at home in the better establishments. Ronald the clown is dead...long live McCafe in an emergency!
Full disclosure...I don't eat at McDonalds. Having said that, we popped into this McCafe' just for curiosity sake as there are none in the USA and we noticed they had consistently received high ratings. We ordered pastries, tea, and a coffee and upon first bite we were quite surprised. My rating isn't based upon comparison with independent restaurants but in comparison with other local chains we have also tried in the area. The medium sized coffee I got would have filled 4 of the "dainty" cups usually offered. I don't know if they make the pastries on site but they were fresh and quite decadent. Close your eyes, forget the "McDonalds" image you may have and give it a try.
