one of the best French restaurants I know. the lammcarré was on the spot exactly fried, the potato burr was a dense and the ratatouille was just delicious. highly recommended!

Stumbled across this restaurant. It was a lovely evening so the option to sit outside was appealing. The service was very good but too quick. No sooner had we finished our entrees the mains were put in front of us. Think the quickness is to turn patrons over and get more through in the evening. Food and wine choice was very good. Would definitely recommend but ask for a break between courses if you want to dine rather than eat!
Mere Catherine is just up an alley from the main street along the Limmat and it was recommended by our hotel, just a short walk away. They have outside dining tucked in an alcove but fortunately we chose inside as it poured!. We were at a back table and glad we were as it got very crowded. 3 of us shared escargot...they came in the shell, not something we were used to. My wife and I shared a cheese plate appetizer, very good. Most of us had the beef stew, also very good. The wine was very good and reasonably priced. I would go there again.
Tourists who are wandering across the streets of romantic Zürich oldtown, could find this hidden restaurant. The weather was not the best so we sitted inside. The staff was most professional and helpful. The onion soup and the fish was unexceptionable. I had no luck with the rosé, but it's nothing to do with the staff or the place. The walls inside do not have a friendly color: it is a kind of nasty white. It is a question of taste. I can recommend the place for a romantic dinner.
the restaurant has a beautiful garden to enjoy. eating is very good, the staff very friendly. everything is true!
eating was ok; the portions of the larger not very large. we had a fish mix with rice.
