We arrived unannounced and were seated quickly at a table, despite the restaurant being busy. The food was actually quite good - pizza and a nice salad. I have to say the service was very good and polite. No complaints from us!
Terrible Service, these waitresses need to be fired. Insulting guests, long waiting times, mediocre food and just plain rudeness and ignorance. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT.
The staff a very rude and ignore you. They do not like people with children and really make no effort to provide a service. . I will avoid this and walk 2 min next door for excellent food and service. We also walked away after waiting 30 mins trying to find a seat. AVOID this place! You will be disappointed ! !
We went to this restaurant late evening last week after a wonderful visit to Zugerberg. We were with our 3 year old boy, all three of us had worked up a full appetite after doing various trails at Zugerberg. On reaching the entrance I tried to gain attention of various staff so we could be seated. The restaurant was quite busy but it is a fairly big place with lots of outdoor and indoor seating so still there were empty tables. Staff members did not seem interested in dealing with customers, no one would stand a second to speak to us, they were literally ignoring us, walking right by as if not hearing 'excuse me please' or anything I was saying to gain their attention. After going from staff member to staff member we seated ourselves on a table at which point a staff member walked up saying how being with a child was blocking the way and we should move to another part, we went to the other area pointed by that staff member only to be told by another staff member manning that area that we cannot sit their either (although there were 4 huge tables free, in a corner so there was no disturbance) he told us to move to another table (that table had no chairs, it was literally just a table) when I pointed that out he rudely pulled 2 chairs from somewhere and said whatever, if you wanna eat this is it. At this point we had enough, it was clear that we were a nuisance to them and not welcome at all. I can only imagine that they don't want to serve families or maybe anyone at all. Families stay away from this place, staff is rude beyond belief. I must add that we literally walked to the restaurant right next to this place and had a wonderful, welcoming experience with a delicious meal. Don't put yourself through such a horrible experience, the food can't be worth it.
We went there for dinner which we reserved a table for 2 for. When we got there, it was really full and the waitors were stressed and in a hurry. As we came in, a male waitor said "no no sorry" without having asked us if we reserved or anything. I told him we did so he then prepared a table quickly, not apologizing or making us feel welcomed. Anyway, the food is good. I had a cordon bleu with fries and a salad for an OK price. I personally think its a bit overrated. If the personal were a bit friendlier on that day, i might not have such a bad image of it. Food good, personal and ambient not so.
We seated ourselves, and proceeded to wait for 279 hours for the waiter to notice us. My girlfriend died of starvation on the 3rd day; however, I survived a bit longer by eating my own legs and some wood from the table. The first interaction we had with the staff was when they complained about my teeth damaging the table's finish. The other patrons ignored us also, but some of them were definitely dead. I must say however that the views while dying are quite nice. Recommend to other travelers not to wait quite as long as we did. Have a sit down, don't order or expect anything, and then to go another restaurant after a few minutes.
We went on a weeknight and got a table without a problem. The servers were very nice and our food was delicious. The portions were a bit small and needed to go to the local Migros after for a little more food.
We went there to have lunch, no one welcomes you. A waitress even pushed us aside because we were staring in front of the door waiting for sitting down. As no one was even greeting, we sat down by ourselves and we almost had to beg to have a menu. We uselessly waited long for someone coming to take our order, then started asking for it, but 5 different waiters told us it was not their job.We went away without ordering but food served at other tables wasn't looking tasty. They cook frozen pizza, not exactly what you expect from a "pizzeria".
