Les jardins de la tour is a small restaurant located in rossiniere in the heart of the pays d'enhaut. Getting there was quite easy with a panel indicating the location of the restaurant at the entry of the village. Parking spots are also available right in front of the restaurant.Upon arrival we were greeted very warmly the restaurant's only waitress. The room has only a few tables therefore providing a very intimate and discreet service. When we were given out menus there were several different menus and I highly recommend taking the discovery menu. The meal started with little delicious aperitifs followed by an by a delicious amuse bouche created by the chef every day. Then for the starter I had the duck liver which can was very good as well as the apricot jelly accompanying it. For the main I had fish in saffron sauce which was delicious. We also payed ten extra francs for the cheese course that provided a nice overview of which cheeses are made in this region. For the desert we had some sort of strawberry millefeuille that tasted really good. I would like to point out also that all the plates were beautifully decorated.Service was very intimate with a very warm service yet discreet. My parents also found the wines of high quality. In conclusion this restaurant offers a very good meal experience for a good value for money. If you are staying in this region, highly recommend going there.
