Restaurant located in the high of Lausanne with a frame a bit rustic, but excellent food. Culinary delights wide as the customer has the choice between Italian, French and Swiss cuisine. The menu card offers pastas, pizzas, a variety of meat and fish. And proposals of the season. The prices are very good and beneficial quantities. The service is friendly but no more, cooking is very fast.That day, we opted for a plate from Wallis. Main Menu, we choose 2 times the "Périgourdine" sauce Tournedos Rossini (foie gras, black truffle), one time with Tagliatelle and one time with nature potatoes.The entrance was well presented with an assortment consisting of cheese, dried meat, salami, ham and chorizo (not very Valais it ....). Regarding the main dish, delicious, perfectly cooked meat, great sauce and foie gras final touch.In summary, excellent village restaurant (food, choice, quantity, price), but within the framework more rustic.Areas for improvement: - Tables too close to each other. Aligned a little chain.
We have been living so close to this place for so long and did not know it was so good! Open all day, always full (I suggest booking for evenings even in the middle of the week). Our kids and guests love it there. The place is very lively, lots of people and movement around, corner for small kids, always smiling and good staff (and fast). As a foreigner living in CH I've always had an impression that the waiters here are lazy, not caring etc. But not in Le relais! Here, they are really nice, always recognize when we come again. Great variety of food, incl. fish, meat, pasta and pizza. We always invite our friends there!
Ich habe letzte Woche im Le Relais du Grand Mont zu Abend gegessen. Das Restaurant ist einladend und geräumig. Der Service ist tadellos und sehr herzlich. Die Fondue Chinoise à go-go-Formel ist ausgezeichnet und bietet ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, das Fleisch war zart und knusprig. Tolle Wahl in Lausanne!
I had dinner at Le Relais du Grand Mont last week. The restaurant is welcoming and spacious. Service is impeccable and really cordial. The Fondue Chinoise à go-go formula is excellent and a great value, the meat was tender and crisp. Great choice in Lausanne!
