Served by an older friendly lady - ordered 2 x toasted ham, cheese & tomato sandwiches, 1 x serve calamari and 1 x serve of hot chips. Lady who served said "just take your seat and we will call your name when ready" - the lady who delivers the food from the kitchen was bellowing out everyone's name when their food was ready and if they didn't make it to the counter withing 30 seconds off she went again ! Heard my name called so hotfooted it up to the pick up counter - was told that the hot chips would be 5 or 10 minutes - would have thought that it would make better sense to wait and cook the toasties and serve all together? Took our food and sat down - toasted sandwiches were ok but bit meagre just one slice of ham, cheese and tomato - definitely a budget sambo! calamari was good - only $3.50 for 6 calamari balls. At last, my name was called for the hot chip delivery - when I went over to the counter I nearly laughed - there was a bowl of crinkle cut hot chips that had been that overcooked that they were hard and a dark caramel colour - how on earth the kitchen staff could look at them and think that was ok to serve to a customer is beyond me. Took them back to my husband with a bemused look on my face - he wanted to take them back up to the counter and ask for a fresh bowl but as I said to him "if they have given them to a customer, they obviously don't care" - had to go to Albury for a family event and will probably never fly back there again so not particularly bothered but for regular travellers to the Airport, the cafe really needs to get its act together - definitely not good enough !!
40° hot day, greeted with 2 miserable café workers. After waiting to be served for 8 minutes, I was miserably told to go to the other side of the queue as I was standing in the wrong place. I was one of 2 people at the time of lining up and when directed to the end of the line, there were 6. Ordered a sausage roll for my 5yo daughter and it was like a turd wrapped in cardboard. Perhaps a smile would have made the experience better. If AlburyCity want to put this place on the map, they need happier staff.

Don't bother wasting your time.30 minutes for a toasted sandwich and rude staff. Avoid unless you're truly desperate and have a lot of time on your hands.
