Impressed with my first visit to Urban Graze. Very roomy, in fact I think the waitresses should wear Fitbits to record their many steps to reach the tables from the kitchen. The plates they carry are well loaded, too! We chose from the salad meals, so can't comment on the burgers. We found the chicken caesar and the Moroccan beef salad (coucous, tzatziki, and the tastiest meat) to be generous in size and good to eat. Waitress offered a takeaway box which was a great idea not to waste the rest of my beef dish, and it came in handy on my road journey! Staff were pleasant and service very prompt, important in a casual lunch place.
We went in when it was quite quiet, and ordered a chicken burger and a steak sandwich. The steak sandwich came out cold, with two tiny pieces of meat and a very basic tomato and lettuce. I sent it back, they were very apologetic and cooked me a new one, which was warmer but not not, and also they added cheese and relish so I couldn't eat it.My husbands chicken burger was meagre, two tiny sliced pieces of chicken breast with very little salad added.Not good value for money, they seemed pleasant but disorganised and inexperienced. Won't go back.
I travel to Albury monthly and Urban Graze has become my goto. I usually have a burger and a coffee. The burgers are pretty good although the one I just had was a little dry. I changed out the sweet chili mayo for the blue cheese mayo and I could barely taste it which was disappointing. Also the relish wasn't very plentiful either. On the up side the burger was far from sloppy and the meat was still very tasty even if a little over done. Coffee was good and the atmosphere is works as well.
I was really impressed with the menu at Urban Graze. I usually struggle to find something to eat in cafes and fast food places. There were some healthy options here and the food was well presented and fresh. I liked the feel of the place too. I had a toasted sandwich and sweet potato fries and my husband had a burger. I liked their choices of drinks too.
