Great atmosphere with lots of local returning customers. Lovely staff and a great selection of home cooked meals. Reasonable prices for Switzerland. It's the staff that make this place 5!*
Been there for Pizzas which where great. The pasta we had ... worst ever. No idea how you can cook pasta so bad
I can highly recommend this restaurant. The manager as well as the waiters are very friendly and attentive, and the menu is pages and pages of delicious dishes, pizza as well as meat, seafood, salads, pasta ... the works, something for everybody. We've eaten there lots of times and it's always been very good. There's a very small area in front of the restaurant where you can sit outdoor underneath the large chestnut trees in the summer. Even though the place borders on a main street, the noise from traffic is not bad at all. Parking can be a bit hard. The restaurnat doesn't have it's own parking lot. There are some spaces very near by, but they are often occupied, since the restaurant is usually full. However, there is enough parking in the smaller side streets, but it might mean a few minutes' walk. There's also a street car stop right outside. In the summer when the place is full inside and out, service can sometimes be a bit slow, but really not to bad. For Swiss stabdards, prices are not bad at all - more than what we except to pay at home, but way less than other Swiss places even very close by.
Went because of the good reviews at TripAdvisor but was a bit disappointed. Very dirty table. Food was below average compared with other diners and pretty expensive for what you get. The meat was very expensiv dry and sparsely seasoned. Cold beverages had a strange...taste as made with main water. We will not need to return.
We eat at this restaurant regularly when we spend time in Switzerland which we do every year; my husband is Swiss. We have seen this place go through several different owners, and there has been a change again recently, but the menu has remained...more or less the same, and some of the waiters are still there as well. The food is really good, not excellent, but certainly good, and there'sa great variety, and they also have seasonal specials. During the summer time you can sit in the front yard underneath thelarge chestnut trees. The food is pretty expensive, but not more so than at other restaurants in Switzerland.
This place has great food and very friendly staff.During lunch is open and they take reservations.. Their pizzas are great and you can take away.. will go back
