this restaurant is even cute, but it has a bad service, the food is well median and expensive, and the dishes take a lot. I didn't like it! not worth the price
after trying to drink something in two other bars, we finally found a nice welcome here. we didn't make time to take place that a nice smile greeted us!
We have made a habit of having lunch here at least once when we visit. It is my daughter's favorite in Appenzell. They have the best Mac and cheese, according to her. The rest of the menu is quite good and we have not found anything we did not like. Our shi tzu has always been welcome. The sidewurst is very good, the fondue pot huge, the tortellini quite nice and the service has always been friendly.

the cafe restaurant flade is a small sympathetic pub in the village centre. here there are good and comfortable kitchen from the region. the price/performance ratio is good.
we had starving and almost all local people were closed on Sunday. so we landed here .. that eating was ok. but very small portions for the proud price
中午時段,一個人在Appenzell town走走,走到肚子餓時,便要搵食.找找找,很多餐廳都很貴呀 都是慳慳地找間平平地算吧!平平地,唯有本地Appenzell 沙律. 本人還有點要求,就是想品嚐Appenzell 特產芝士及啤酒.這間也可以足我三個願望了.起初入座時,其中一個年紀大的女職員不太想服侍我,感覺她不喜歡chinese/asian 因在瑞士,到某一些地方,時常感受到的,於是她找了另一年青女職員來幫我,但幸好餐廳這女職員很客氣對我,有笑容,有禮,使我用餐時都很開心. 另一個年老的女職員,唯有擋她透明吧!
