Although they have a standard dining menu, we decided to go for the three cure menu for 45chf. they had 3 options for each cursor and we could change the suppe for the seasonal pumpkin from the normal menu. the whole thing was eating. well prepared and presented. the personal was attentive and friendly. it may sound expensive, but it was a good value for the Swiss. we enjoyed our meal. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who lives in the hotel.
the restaurant is really designed for hotel guests and it is a typical half board Prix/fix menu. for chf 45 you can choose from suppe or salat. three main red meat, fish or vegetarian. water, beer, wine, coffee, tee. all extra. the sections were sufficient but a little on the small side.
happy to get a beautiful table in the shadow of a mighty tree, restaurent was full with birthday party, yet good service, good food (fish fillet) excellent local wine, Swiss prize
that is the hotel castle ragaz restaurant. I'm referring to dinner in this restaurant. some dishes (soup, spaghetti carbonara) were very good, the main dishes cut. dessert was okay.
If you dine their avoid the daily special and take the menu card. The chateaubriand is worth the price. Let the waiter help you with the wines, they had quite a good taste. The cheese plate and the deserts are very good. Sometimes when they...more guests, the service is getting slow because to few waiters/waitresses are around. They are still very polite and nice to you and your children. After the dinner the bar nearby is good place to continue the evening.
Had a very nice dinner for my birthday. We had Hirsch entrecote, Irish entecote Rehpfeffer . They were all excellent. For those who had a little hunger left over they decided to finish up with the dessert platter Schlossteller (heavenly! See picture)
