We live nearby and often eat there. The service is good and the food is absolutely delicious! The prices are okay for getting perfectly awesome food. Absolutely recommend this restaurant!
Habe bis jetzt drei Gerichte im Safran probiert und war jedes Mal total begeistert. Wirklich authentisch indisches Essen vom feinsten. Das Servicepersonal ist auch immer sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt... Komme sicher wieder.
Nous avons eu un accueil plus que sympathique. Le personnel est au petit soin pour que soit parfait. Les plats sont vraiment très bons, nous avons l'habitude manger indien. Les prix sont raisonnables pour la Suisse. Réservation possible par internet. Nous ne manqueront pas de revenir lors de nos passages à Soleure !!!!!!!!!! Milles merci !!!!!!!! Namasté
We ordered an appetizer platter for 2 to share between 4 people. That deliciousness was just a hint of the fabulous mains to come. I had the Lamm Korma. The lamb was so tender, I didn't need a knife. The Lamm Vindaaloo was also excellent, but too hot for my taste. My daughter had the Palak Paneer and decided it is her new favorite dish. Our friend had the Aloo Gobhi Masala and was very happy with her choice. I was impressed by the decor and the cleanliness of the restaurant. We had the option of sitting outside, but preferred to stay inside next to the open windows. The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. We will be back!
Seit langem schon wollten wir dieses zentral in Solothurn gelegene indische Restaurant ausprobieren. Heute endlich klappte es. Und wir bedauern, es nicht schon viel früher entdeckt zu haben.Bedienung, Service, Essen: ALLES GANZ TOLL!Preis/Leistung stimmt und man fühlt sich wohl.
Das Essen war absolut spitze. Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Lammcurry sehr empfehlenswert!
The food was amazing! All the food we got from beginning to the end was special, delicious and an explosion of tastes.Most of my experiences with food like this is really bad, nut this place makes it al good and worth it to try it again and again.The service was even helping me with choosing the right dish, even the first course he selected very well!Of course when I am back in switserland I want to eat here again for trying some other food.
Oh My God this was GOOD!! I haven't had a foodgasm like this in a long time! We went here on a recommendation by a colleague. And oh boy, was he right! The food is not salty or greasy at all, it is packed with flavours. And fresh! Oh it tastes all so fresh! They even bake their own Nan (Indian bread). Besides the great food, the service is very friendly and help you with making a choice from the menu. Safran is now one of my favorite restaurants, and I will go here again (and again. and again).The food here is so good that I gladly put a review up on Tripadvisor. So if you want to try something new, or are unsure where to eat...Go to Safran. You will not regret this.
