Leggo i recensori che mi hanno preceduto e non comprendo il loro punto di vista. Qui si gode della quasi perfezione (persino il sapone per le mani al bagno è straordinario) e tutto ciò ha un costo. Neanche pazzesco tutto sommato, considerati i truffatori che si cimentano a volte nella ristorazione. Nessuno vi obbliga a venire in un posto di questo livello, ma se il gioco vi piace il costo diventa un dettaglio.
I took one bite of my 62$ tuna, avocado, mango dish and spit it out. The fish was slimy and tasted extremely fishy. It tasted like I was eating scales. The waiter came over and asked how my food was; I explained that I didn't like it. He proceeded to argue with me in an extremely condescending manner that the fish could not possibly be bad as it is flown in from Spain and the chef tasted my food before and after and it was indeed good. The customer is always the customer, and this is the worst service I have experienced in years, not to mention he charged me for the 62$ fish I did not eat more than 1 bite of. Both my parents also hated their extremely overpriced dishes as did the manager of the Badrutts Palace Hotel, the most luxury hotel in St. Moritz. This restaurant does not deserve any stars, let alone 1 Michelin star.
Wenn man ins Talvo geht muss einem klar sein, dass die Preise hoch sein werden. Aber das Essen, Weinauswahl und Service entsprechen in jedem Punkt auch der Leistung. Nebst den auf der Karte aufgeführten Speisen werden noch Spezialitäten des Tages angeboten. Der Steinbutt für 2 Personen war ausgezeichnet, sowohl beim ersten wie auch zweiten Service. Ebenfalls hervorragend das Perlhuhn für 2 Personen. Nebst dem Gruss aus der Küche zu Beginn wird dies dann auch beim Dessert wiederholt und einmalig die verschiedenen Schokoladenspezialitäten zum Kaffee. Geniessen sie einen einmaligen Abend beim dem alles stimmt und insbesondere auch Preis/Leistung.

Questo è furto.Cena senza senso, ci siamo chiesti quale motivo ci ha portato in questo ristorante.....Il proprietario dovrebbe rivedere i suoi prezzi....stellato Michelin....mmmmmaaaa!C'è un ristorante di pesce famosissimo Murta.....l, 3 volte meno caro e molto più buono con porzioni da ristorante e non da Assaggi.DELUDENTE.

Ambiente curato - personalmente mi è piaciuto molto - e personale di sala cortese e competente. Ho preso una crema di carciofi con uovo cotto a bassa temperatura e la sella di capriolo, tutto assolutamente di mio gradimento; purtroppo mio padre non è stato altrettanto fortunato: i cavatelli - piatto forte dello chef - erano infatti troppo piccanti per i suoi gusti e, a onor del vero, li abbiamo assaggiati anche noi familiari prima di far riportare il piatto mezzo pieno in cucina ed erano veramente parecchio piccanti, tanto da coprire completamente il sapore dei crostacei. Al momento del conto abbiamo trovato i suddetti cavatelli calcolati nel totale e, dopo averlo fatto presente, la signorina che ci ha seguiti si è scusata subito, imputando l'errore ad una svista: un comportamento perfetto. Ciò che mi ha stupito parecchio, per essere uno stellato, è che al momento di pagare con il conto corretto si è presentato il maître il quale ci ha detto che lo chef aveva assaggiato il piatto incriminato trovandolo perfetto, facendoci intendere che lo "sconto" era dovuto ad una bontà d'animo da parte loro. Personalmente non ho mai assistito ad un simile commento in un ristorante stellato e l'ho trovato del tutto fuori luogo anche perché in 4 persone, prendendo 3 antipasti, 1 primo (senza i cavatelli), 3 secondi e un dolce abbiamo speso 475 franchi; non essendo un ristorante economico quando un cliente si lamenta e manda indietro un piatto mi aspetto un altro tipo di comportamento o, detto altrimenti, mi aspetto la reazione della cameriera.
Excellent restaurant with great service. We enjoyed a wonderful night in this excellent restaurant. We can only recommend this restaurant! A must if you are in Engadin.
I love Talvo, as it features modern cuisine with seasonal flavours and every course is always amazing. The menu is probably the best value for money, but this time I took a starter and a main course and both were equally pretty and tasty. Whether vegetarian or meat lover, Talvo has delicious options to cater for everyone.
