If you are on a TIGHT BUDGET then visit it. I visited the "Happy Wok" on a Saturday evening at 9:30 and it was still open.. and empty. I and a friend went for the "eat as you can buffet". The food was OKish, there were sushi and maki (not many though), spring rolls, a mushroom and meat soup, some cold and dry noodles, 2 meat dishes, vegetables and dessert. It was not a great meal nor the worst I have ever had. The was very cheap though: A water, a coke and 2 buffets for 25.10 euro. The did NOT give us a proper bill though. The Happy Wok closes at 23:00 so, if you are on a budget or late for dinner, it is an option.

I stopped on Saturday evening looking for a takeaway. I didn't find much on the menu but had the buffet as a takeaway. Soup, main meal and a desert for 9.90 euro. Quality was good and was tasty and good value for money.

All you can eat - - a lie. They will tell you there is no more for lunch/dinner. Food not on menu will be charged exorbitantly. Lied to us about his nationality origin (told different nationality to different guests) - - dishonest. Tap water will be charged 3.80 €. You will not get a formal bill. He will write the bill (to his whims if not in menu) Even the restaurant name is ambiguous. (happy wok? Tokyo restaurant?) Gets defensive when we went back to ask for a bill. This restaurant is in the mid of linsergasse.

Worst service ever. The man was rude and tried to bully us into staying after the menu outside was advertised to the menu we got sitting down. Awful customer service don't recommend to anyone at all

Positives: None. This place is truly bad. Food: We were staying at a local hotel and arrived late. That put us under pressure to find something to eat. We decided not to faff about and just went into the Happy Wok. We looked at the menu which was very limited compared to most Chinese/Asian restaurants I’ve been in. So we decided we’d just go for the buffet, which didn’t look great. It was awful. Every single main dish was oversalted. I’ve come across this technique once before in a Chinese buffet and it’s clearly designed to ensure that customers can’t eat much. Everything about this place was very poor. My wife and my son could barely eat a thing. I forced myself to eat as my experience of similar situations is that you’re going to have to pay no matter how bad it is. I have not one single positive feeling about this place.Negatives: Service was awful. The guy who served us was just about neutral before we’d ordered. But when we asked for the bill he said ok then went to watch the UEFA match on the big screen in the restaurant instead of tending our table. When I told him I thought the food was terrible and suggested that he knew it was terrible because they’d put too much salt in every main dish, he said ‘Well you chose the buffet’. He made it clear he knew what he was serving and didn’t care.Very much worse than ‘poor’.
