located in the splendid valley of Calanca, "the waterfall" takes its name from what is visible from some windows. Attention, I'm only talking about the restaurant. Friendly staff, friendly structure and for the dishes absolutely nothing to be said. The only flaw was the arrangement of the group at the tables. Although we had the room for us, we found ourselves a little tight (it would have been easy to remove the round table and put a second rectangular table) Anyway if you pass from the area do not hesitate to stop and make your idea, personally I save it among the favorites.

The gastronomic Eldorado in the Centovalli! I was allowed to spend two nights including culinary excellence in the Hotel Ristaurante Stazione with the hosts Eloa and Yanick. I have decided against photos because my illustrations and descriptions do not do justice to reality. I was greeted with one of the warmest greetings in Eloa. After a small hotel tour, I caught my breath when entering my room for the first time. Being first on the Titanic's railing is nothing compared to the prospect! And the best thing is, you lie in bed, have the balcony and this view in front of you! But I was looking forward to the evening. I opted (twice) for the 4 course carte blanche one of the best decisions of my life. On the first evening I was able to enjoy everything vegetarian (on request). The individual courses were so balanced, each component simply sat next to the high quality basic products, in the production and presentation! Ditto for the second night I opted for more meat. Yanick has fully exploited the culinary top level with regional products! In addition to the unbelievable food, there is of course also the service to be honored here. Not once did I have to ask for anything. Eloa fulfilled my every wish before I could express it. She passes on her knowledge with great passion and raises the gastronomic experience to a unique top level. When Eloa takes care of the other guests with great enthusiasm, Fabio is immediately there with his cheerful and courteous nature. In addition to the evening experiences, the morning should also be mentioned here. I was greeted by Fata with probably the warmest and most loving smile and shown to my breakfast table. The perfectly put together first meal of the day left nothing to be desired. Rounded off with the warm service, there's no better way to start the day! Basically, it can be said that the living room atmosphere with the high performance of the kitchen, service and housekeeping is unparalleled. I have found my new sanatorium for soul and body in the Ristorante della Stazione and can more than recommend a stay to everyone! Thank you for this experience! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Avevamo appreso della particolarità del locale e del cibo di questo ristorante. Come coppia siamo spesso fuori casa per pranzi o cene, dunque conosciamo una moltitudine di ristoranti anche sul territorio ticinese. Ad Intragna, da "Agnese" abbiamo avuto un'accoglienza spiccia da parte della padrona. Il cibo non è di qualità e gusto eccezionali con salse che nascondono il sapore della pietanza. Servizio poco superiore a quello delle osterie. Prezzi decisamente esagerati (anche il x3 sui vini). Particolari: oltre alla bottiglia di vino abbiamo ordinato una brocca di acqua naturale da rubinetto e ci siam trovati a pagare 9 franchi per un litro di acqua naturale minerale; una braciola di vitello, dimensioni media, a franchi 59.50! Pregi del locale: vista sulle terre di Pedemonte e possibilità di apprendimento della lingua di Göthe mentre si mangia! Insomma: nel Ticino ci son decisamente altri posti migliori in cui spendere i propri soldi!
