In diesem Restaurant ging Quantität mit Qualität einher. Die Portionen waren sehr groß und lecker. Ich habe eines der besten Schnitzel und Spareribs meines Lebens gegessen. Der Kellner war freundlich und lustig. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wirklich empfehlen.
Sehr freundlicher Besitzer. Tolles Essen. Hatte den Stroganoff und war köstlich. Guter Wein. Nicht zu teuer. Zum Abschluss gab es eine Runde Schnaps, was spektakulär war! Hausgemacht!! Schöne Atmosphäre. Sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant in Rauris.
Waited one and half hour for the food and we didn't still get served all together. The food was just ok and the salad wasn't fresh. No apologies from the staff for the bad service.

Visited this restaurant 3 times in one week. It is simply superb. Between my husband and I we tries the steak - Turkey salad - ribs and the mixed meat. All were excellent although the ribs were my favourite. Try the Vennen's Kirsch Special if you enjoy a tipple after dinner. Great family run place with a fab atmosphere.
The steak was good. The steak house chips his wedges. Its about 35euro for steak and wedges. And you have to buy salad on top of that. Has you enter restaurant the table on the right. has a tight squeeze. Its like you are sitting with the other table at the corner. If you like a good steak and cheaper go to Landgasthaus Weixen or Gasthof Andrelwirt.
Visited twice in a week's holiday. The first time I had an excellent steak, the second time I had the ribs which were superb. Small, friendly restaurant, vital to book ahead, as it is very popular and excellent value for money. It has a great atmosphere, warm and friendly, with a jovial German host (Willy) and his wife Birgit who does the cooking. Can't recommend highly enough, hope to return some day!
We ate at Vennen's twice during a recent skiing holiday in Rauris. It really is a great restaurant that seems to be very popular so I would suggest booking in advance as we did. The food was delicious on both visits but it is the ribs that I would really recommend going for, I think they are a special on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It's a huge portion of tender spare ribs with a homemade BBQ sauce for dipping and of course Pommes frites.
