We loved this place. The hotel manager was amazing. Our room had double French balcony doors to look out and see Jungfrau. It was so nice we ate our dinner from the restaurant out on our balcony. The location was perfect. We highly recommend this property. All of the staff were great.
This is simply the MOST amazing place to stay and dine - the staff are all incredibly polite and attentive. Caroline, the Manager made our stay at this hotel UNFORGETABLE and upgraded us to THE JUNGFRAU suite............the view of the Jungfrau from our first morning is one i shall treasure forever. Thank you to you Caroline and ALL your amazing staff for making our holiday so SPECIAL.
Charming small hotel located on the hill with stunning views of the mountains. Our room was one of the smaller ones but we had are own bathroom and balcony. There service has been impeccable complete with a turn down and clean up of the room in the evening. The hotel offers a comfortable lounge with honor bar.
Nous y sommes venus sur recommandation et vraiment, je ne peux que dire des éloges sur cet établissement. Nous remercions la Patronne et le Personnel de service pour la qualité de l'accueil qui nous a été réservé. Tous les plats servis étaient une extase pour nos papilles. La carte des vins fait la part belle aux meilleurs crus du pays sans pour autant négliger certains grands cépages étrangers. Laissez-vous tenter par les coups de cœur des patrons. Nous avons pris un assemblage de rouges du Tessin, le Casimiro 2012, une merveille. De plus, n'ayez point de crainte, tous sauront s'adresser à vous dans votre langue.
Para cenar Fonduee, raglette, ...de muy diferentes y originales formas comida alpina. Por ser Suiza más barato que en ningún otro sitio....eso si 1 agua de 1 litro 10 francos cómo en todos los sitios.
Une succession de saveurs qui a mis nos papilles en fête du début à la fin de notre repas demandé végétarien. L'oeuf mollet dans sa mousse au champagne et parmesan ...inoubliable, les filets de sandre déposés sur un lit de langue d'oiseau ....un régal, la mousse de de fromage ..schapziger , une belle surprise . et avec chaque plat un verre de vin parfaitement choisi.Le personnel attentif et chaleureux a fait de ce moment un moment festif.
5 star service, this is an exceptional hotel, and they are so helpful with advice on trips and days out too. The food in the main restaurant is exceptional, slightly more expensive, but the extras make it worthwhile. The fish is amazing, and worth a visit for dinner even if you aren't staying here, though you may have to book.All the rooms seem to be located with fantastic views, ours had our own balcony with table and chairs. Lounge with free coffee and tea was typical of the extra attention to detail that makes this such a pleasant stay. Location in Wengen is excellent, cable car and/or train can easily get you to many locations and day trips.
Das Restaurant ist klein, jedoch sehr gemütlich, gepaart mit einer gewissen Eleganz. Die Karte ist übersichtlich, was ich bevorzuge, dies gibt einen Hinweis auf die frische der Angebote. Was wir gegessen haben war alles vorzüglich, der Fisch auf den Punkt gegart. Die Weinkarte ist sehr umfangreich und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas an.Der Service war überaus freundlich, jedoch unaufdringlich. Wir waren alle vier überaus zufrieden mit dem Gebotenen. Gerne wieder.(Einziger Minuspunkt, wir mussten mehrmals anrufen, bis eine Verbindung zustande kam, da das Telefon immer auf einem Anrufbeantworter endete, hier gäbe es sicher Verbesserungspotenzial)
