ground floor kitchen with best quality regional food from a very good kitchen. something outside of linz, but the trip is worth it.
We had been walking through the city and stumbled upon this wonderful gasthaus. Lucky us! We started with Most and ended up eating several courses, cake, and schnapps before wandering back to town. The service was friendly and the outdoor seating was cool and pretty, overlooking the hills. We'd definitely seek out a return visit for the schnitzel and cakes!

Especially on warm days this is an excellent place to be. The local food is excellent, the wines OK and the service is good. Always a nice place to go to with your friends.
ESSEN:Eating all 5 people was excellent (spinatknödel, versbraten, zander, wiener schnitzel vom schwein, frittatensuppe, kürbiscreamsuppe, topfenstudel.) spinatknödel with light cheese filling, on gorganzola sauce which was not too intense, on a vegetable crucible with absolutely crumb. the salat had only a very inconvenient dressing, which I love. large portions. map not excessively large, but also vegetarian find selection!SERVICE: sher satisfactorily, it was occasionally asked if we can still bring something, not too often and not too rare. friendly and very polite. negatiw, at the main dish had the waiter mehere teller on the hand and although I was just looking for something in my handbag, it was "expected by me" that I took off the teller and put it from me, that doesn't have to be.AMBIENTE: beautifully original. in summer very nice to sit outside. like a little short holiday!Only minus point. wc to reach only over longer stages, floor not completely clean, only cold water, very corrosive smelling must (probably disinfected).
Unfortunately, this gas house cannot withstand with the previous pächter. the menu not very varied. in autumn no wild food is on the map. the insert of the fritatten soup was at best industrial goods, not as before, where the fritatten themselves were made. also the baked speckknödel did not taste well.In the case of herbal salad it was not supposed to be cold or warm. the black roast was very good. the glow must came to the table. the beuschel was okay.
