Fantastische Lage, Schweizer Qualität, ein wenig angestaubt. War vor 30 Jahren schon nett, heute mit neuem Restaurant und schöner Seeterrasse.
We usually frequent this restaurant for lunches and dinners. every visit is a guarantee: attentive and well-kept service, well-presented dishes, excellent raw materials, medium-high prices. the terrace is magnificent also for a romantic dinner. a secure address for mahogany!
Beautiful view from front rooms only " mountain view " means street view - dated rooms ugly at that side of hotel beds super dated and very bad indeed Pool very pretty breakfast area beautiful However the most outrageous staff you can ever imagine Check in took hours and receptionist was the rudest hotel staff I have ever encountered ! my colleague accidentally spilt a little bit of orange juice at breakfast and the waiter would not stop scolding him Just to mention the two rudest incidences What a shame for those pretty views from front side of hotel ...
This restaurant directly along the lake has a beautiful terrace, which is the most commendable aspect it has. The food is highly priced, but the quality of the cuisine is not up to the steep price you have to pay for it. Service is good and friendly. Had a mediocre chicken curry and a small, steeply priced vegetable soup. Nothing to write home about.
wonderful place on the lake of lugano in cassaratebeside the location you eat very well and also the staff is very kind and prepared excellent wine charter a little 'high but just for all the qualities that it offers you can reach also with the boat great for all occasions (work lunches, families, romantic dinners,meeting,vacanze)
There for a weekend conference with my wife, we enjoyed the large room with two french doors onto a balcony overlooking the lake. The beds were firm and we slpet well. At breakfast the buffet catered to every wish, and the coffe with hot milk was perfect. We also had a dinner and a lunch at the hotel, both excellent and served with style. My only complaints are no body lotion or conditioner in the bathroom, and those unstealable hook-in-the-hole coathangers: not quite a Swiss four-star standard.
a little surprised by the prices for the quality of the presentation of the dishes. A 3-pepper snack (it's only the pepper of the mill!!!) I expected to taste 3 different sauces. The meat was very tender, but from there to serve a plate so simple. Nice view, and nice boys.
for a family party lunch we were delighted at seegarten with a calf tartare with asparagus, valemaggia pepper and a crunchy Parmesan wafer, followed by risotto with scaffolds and their coral, lamb lombat in potato crust sauce with mustard granules and homeless contours and a cake st. honoré as dessert. each dish turned out to be top, as always when I could have lunch or dinner at the restaurant of this hotel, which for its quality never betrays. from here the note of excellence.
