Cosy room with large shower. Yummy breakfast also. The only drawback was noise from the street as it was a very hot day and we needed the windows open. There was no traffic noise with the windows.
staff very friendly. Food really tasty. But there is no concept for speditives service. We waited 1.5 hours for our main course on a Sunday evening. A no-go with children. With take away we could eat the food at home. We'll be back, either without kids or with enough time.
Unfortunately, I can 't rate the room. However, if you go to the toilet, you get into the hotel area. This is modern and very nicely furnished. My daughter said, We 're in the castle now. We have eaten there several times. The food is impeccable. Super tasty, service is also nice and courteous. When it is full there is a little longer waiting time, but this is normal and not a problem for us. Roast duck, chicken and papaya salad. The duck sauce is not our thing. We often order the peanut sauce as well. Nearby activities: Less than 10 minutes walk to the Aare. Very nice area, quiet and pure nature. There is also a swimming pool about 15 minutes walk.
