Very near to St Martin's chalets where we were staying. Very friendly family run with fresh no frills local fare. Were made very welcome on our two visits
We've eaten and had a drink here on a number of occasions and always found the atmosphere pleasant and the food wholesome and hearty Austrian fare.On the most recent visit we had a tasty deer ragout, pork with tomato and cheese, cordon bleu and of course a schnitzel. All were good sized portions and delicious.Some of the decor is a bit outdated and if in the no smoking room, you might not get attention all the time as locals get priority who sit in smoking areas.That said we keep going back.
the chefin serves personally, the offered foods have a consistent high quality and the Pries-Performance ratio fits absolutely. during each stay in St.Michael, an evening meal in the metzgerstub’n is simply included
Austrian menu at the base of our family evening. gulash, small cordon bleu and mixed salads. to mean everything. The final account is slightly high especially in relation to the quality of the dishes.
for years, we feel good here when the lust comes to dessert. Previously, the main dishes were better and bigger, this has left my view after something. is still appropriate. the desserts are still a highlight. in the atmosphere or the service was never something to put out.
the gasthaus metzgerstub’n makes a good impression from the outside. the biggest minus we had to forgive because of the non-smoker area. The bar is located in the middle of the local area where all areas are fogged by 2 to 3 smoking people. the about 2m wide passages to the non-smoking areas do not stop smoking.The eating was so in order, unfortunately the kartoffels were only short in the fritous, so that the large kartoffel pieces can be called raw inside.The price performance ratio is in order.
Ganz in der Nähe der St. Martins Chalets, in denen wir waren. Sehr freundlicher Familienbetrieb mit frischem, schnörkellosem Lokalpreis. Sie waren herzlich willkommen, unsere beiden zu besuchen
Wir haben mehrmals gegessen und getrunken und fanden die Atmosphäre immer angenehm und das Essen einsam und herzhaft österreichischer Abschied. Beim letzten Besuch hatten wir ein leckeres Hirnragout, Schweinefleisch mit Tomate und Käse, Cordon Bleu und. natürlich ein Schinitzel. Alle waren gute Portionen und lecker. Einige der Einrichtungen sind etwas veraltet und wenn man sich im Raucherraum befindet, kann man nicht immer die Aufmerksamkeit auf sich ziehen, da Einheimische Vorrang haben, die in Raucherzonen sitzen. Das heißt, wir machen weiter.
