I have been more regular in the collina for 12 years and can only look at the hotel and the restaurant.
We've visited Scuol several times over the past few years and on most visits we have at least one meal at La Collina - partly due to its convenient location near the apartment we rent, and partly due to its decent salami pizza.We've never had particularly attentive service here, even though the restaurant is usually empty when we visit (off season,) but that hasn't discouraged us from returning.
I was eating yesterday with my family (4 adult, 1 child 4j.) in collina and we were all thrilled. the women has tasted the delicious pizza and the men the juicy cordon bleu (they have a nice selection at different cordon bleus.) the daughter was happy with her spaghetti and also had joy at the paint pencils that you were brought to the beginning of the always loving and friendly service. we felt very comfortable throughout the evening and will gladly visit the collina again.
with my colleague I was there and ordered a vegetarian pizza (small, black olive) and got one with speck and mushrooms. absolute no-go!
nice and ground-level restaurant with excellent cordon bleu :-). the prices are very fair and eating is excellent.
we had lachs and cordon bleu, both were excellent and quite large portions and very finely prepared. the service was very friendly and did not forget us on the terrace, although most people ate inside. very good price/performance
as it was our last night and I broke my leg and couldn't move, we threw our devotee on that pizzeria that delivers. No one responded to the phone in almost an hour of unsuccessful attempts, the main line of the hotel ended up in a combox (swisscom reply) when it did not make noises of frying or plumbing. We ate somewhere else and it was very good.
