As vegetarians, our restaurant choices are a bit limited in Switzerland. My wife took the veggie plate, I took the "automn veggies." The quantity was generous but the food was hardly tasty. The owner seems to be from Asia and every Thursday, there is an Asian buffet but the veggies were not spiced one bit. The quality was fine but our taste buds were lacking stimulation.
went there to eat some paints. also to my confirmation. always very friendly staff. the host family is not always present but understandable due to family. eating is super delicious.
This is a very reasonable place to eat while in the midst of a walk/ hike or just enjoying Spiez. The best aspect of this restuarant is its location - right at the side of the lake, when it opens up towards the mountains. The food is decent and good for the price.

the food was good. would have expected that at least my coffee is paid by the restaurant. the Swiss wete still have to learn a lot if they want to keep punkto hospitable with our neighbours. probably this will never be the case. but complaining, they are world champions..The union hasn't even done enough to say goodbye to us and to say thank you.
