the local is a kiosk in the market square, very well kept and decorated with plenty of flowers. We need a good breakfast, with wide choice and reasonable prices, all with friendliness and sympathy.
The atmosphere of this diverse market square is lovely, especially on a beautiful day when one can enjoy the outdoor life in sunny weather. This is a small cafe with some outdoor tables but we had to wait ages until one became free. Service was OK though clearly the staff were stretched. The menu is great for breakfasts and casual food throughout the day at fair prices. I would not walk miles just to come to this place but if you are exploring the Karmelitermarkt then it is worth a stop if you can find a table.
Ich ging mit einer Freundin an einem Samstag in dieses Lokal. Es war sehr voll und es dauerte leider 15 minuten bis wir endlich bestellen konnten. Das Wiener Frühstück war dafür aber super lecker und die Zutaten hatte alle Bio Qualität. Gezahlt haben wir dann pro person um die 10€ mit Getränk also auch ganz Ok. Ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen aber vielleicht nicht unbedingt am Samstag, da es wirklich überfüllt war.
Wir waren eine Gruppe von 6 Personen, haben über 20 min gewartet bis wir bestellen durften und dann ca. 30 min bis das Frühstück kam und das noch nicht mal vollständig. Nach weiteren 10 min kam die restliche Bestellung nur mein Kaffee immer noch nicht. Essen an sich war aber lecker nur die Bedienung total überfordert.....
Coffee our first day, then breakfast for the next two days, Cafemima was our favorite local cafe in Vienna. A bit funky, bohemian, eclectic decor. They staff was super nice to us and our lack of German. The food was awesome and the whole vibe just very casual and relaxed.
Das Wiener Frühstück war in Ordnung, der Pancake leider angebrannt, was für die lange Wartezeit sehr schade war. Im Vergleich zu anderen Cafés in der Nähe ist das Frühstück eher spärlich. Der Service ist in der Tat nicht sonderlich schnell.Das Ambiente ist kitschig, aber nicht unangenehm, die Musik war laut, aber zum Frühstück passend und man konnte sich noch sehr gut unterhalten.Für einen Organic-Drink etwas später am Tag bestimmt ganz nett, für das Frühstück eher ungeeignet.
Read so many good reviews, although my visit was NOTHING worth the reviews I read. Barely got a greeting, service was catastrophic as the servers were staying in the kitchen talking to their friends, paying no attention to any of the guest's needs. When guests were leaving, the table would stay dirty for a while .. not giving the cafe's a nice welcoming environment or place you want to stay in.. the decor itself is very simple, nothing really thought through. My coffee wasn't anything special and the chocolate cake was too dry and plain. Anyways, nothing worth your time as there are many other better places to enjoy a nice coffee with good service on the Karmelitermarkt!
Small place. My girlfriend and I were lucky to find a seat. The breakfast was nice and healthy. Eggs, cheese, yogurts, juice ... Everything freshly made. Nice staff
