This was my last night in Vienna and my absolute worst overall experience, besides the abusive and aggressive chef the restaurant was dark, dirty, and the food was awful. I paid for their €22 schnitzel and it's the most expensive I've seen in Vienna, tasted like chewy death and was absolutely tiny anyway which I guess was ok because I didn't eat it. I strongly recommend avoiding this place it has nothing to offer except disappointment, better off with a €2 schnitzel at the train station for real; taste the same at one tenth the cost

Realy tasty and rich european food! Rind Zunge with pumpkin oil is amazing! Lamb and pork are delicios!

It's hard to say whether there are better or worse restaurants along the Neustiftgasse. I'm not sure since I've had a limited time in Vienna, but this place is excellent. I went to Wratschko because it had, of course, been featured on Bourdain's Vienna "No Reservations" episode, and I was not disappointed. The waiter was quite helpful in recommending what she thought were the best dishes. The beer and wine selection was basic but quite good and the food included old German and Viennese standards that were expertly prepared. The attention to detail is quite amazing. How does the chef keep the vegetables crisp and appealing in a boiled beef dinner? The sauces and accompaniments were just as expertly prepared. This is just a great restaurant at a fantastic price point.

For our last night in Vienna we did a quick search and found Anthony Bourdain had dinner at this great inexpensive restaurant and without hesitation we headed there. The results were outstanding, the food was superb the service was amazing. We ordered the roasted leg of lamb with green asparagus and potatoes and the flavor was out of this world, we also ordered roasted sirloin in green paper sauce and roasted potatoes... at first we did not know what to order but the waitress recommendation was extremely satisfying for desert she recommended Semolina pancake "Schmarren" with rhubarb compote. The beer was also ice cold, I strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Vienna.

I went to Wrastschko for early dinner and the experience was great. The waitress was super nice and recommended a dish which turned out to be delicious. The service was quick and the food as expected: excellent.

Warum man da hin soll - bleibt schleierhaft.
