We chose Leopold for our last night in Vienna, and we were not disappointed. My father was a native of Leopoldstadt, and I came here with him many times towards the end of his long life.On this trip my wife and I have been exporing the district more than ever. Just crossing the Donaukanal takes us clean out of the mad tourist hustle of the erster Bezirk (district 1). It's only a short walk, and well worth it.Leopold is clearly popular with locals, and for good reason. Give it a go!
Service war weitgehend sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Nettes Ambiente. Das Essen war gut wenn auch nicht herausragend. Das Gulasch hatte eine "komische" Note, die Schokotarte schmeckte nach Nutella.
Had a lovely dinner here with some friends sitting outside in the square by the church. Really nice atmosphere, no cars passing by. The wait staff were super friendly and nice. The food was very well presented and out Austrian friend gave her thumbs up for the food too. All in all a wonderful experience. Will come again very soon!!!
We had a lovely dinner here outside next to the churchyard. The service was friendly and the food was creative and nicely presented.If you like beef there is lots on the menu.We shared a mixed starter of marinaded mushrooms, beef tartare and haloumi with grilled vegetables. Unfortunately the food tasted just ok.I had a flammekuchen or flamishe, which looked great and the idea to cook everything separately (bacon, and the flamishe) and add fresh spring onions was a good idea to the eye but just didn't taste good, although the bacon was very good and the flamishe was tasty, it just didn't blend.My wife had a grilled chicken breast salad, tasty.50 Euro for three was fine and a nice place so overall I recommend it.
Immer wieder gerne, alle probierten Speisen waren immer frisch und köstlich. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Komme gerne wieder...und das sicher bald.
Ich war erst kürzlich zum ersten mal dort. Die Speisen waren super und der Wein war hervorragend! Zum draußen sitzen super nett und die Kellnerin war wirklich sehr nett und sehr aufmerksam!
Wir sind zum Abendessen eingekehrt und wurden ordentlich verwöhnt. Der Salat mit Spargel und Erdbeeren ist der Hammer. Die Schnitzel waren ebenfalls super . Die Kartoffeln kann man empfehlen, egal ob als Pommes, Bratkartoffeln oder gebutterte Kartoffeln . Wenn man in der Nähe ist, kann man getrost einkehren.
